Hallo Dave!

I've a new PC with Win7 Pro and a Nvidia GTS450. All drivers are the last one. Now my 3DSimEd 2.15 didn't started.
All version 2.xx have the same probs, I get a message box:
"3dSimEd OpenGL Application didn't worked."

And now ?!

Only the 1.xx - version runs good.

.....

Sorry, I am running Win7 64-bit Nvidia GTX460 with latest drivers and no problems with any of the v2 releases.

I presume the error message is the standard MS eror message. If you are able to give me the details of the report (just the top few lines or attach the Appcompat.txt file written by Windows) I *might* be able to find out what has gone wrong.

Cheers!

Many of the changes are documented here:- http://www.sim-garage.co.uk/tools_version_history.htm

There are two suggestions for getting around the problems you are having with 2.15.

1) Try switching off anti-virus protection and then running 3DSimED.

2) 3DSimED does very little when it starts, but it does read the present settings which are stored in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimGarage\3dSimEd. If you export those settings in RegEdit and then delete the 3DSimED key it might clear some settings that have caused 3DSimED a problem.

Cheers!
