The mod was released a few days ago, with good response. It was posted in the middle of a thread, so I don't think everyone knows about it just yet.

Budman's COT mod is out for NR2003!

It uses the rFactor templates available here. http://www.rpm3dinc.com/COTMOD/Downloads.html

To download the mod visit.
http://www.rnrracing.us/

You must be approved before you can download, but it's worth the wait.
Also join our official COT server at nights for some fun. RNR_COT Beta is the server name.

The administrator must approve you first. He will. There are a few FPS issues. They are being worked on right now, for now try and lower the settings. I have had no problems though.

It is a real FPS killer. They did have some mistakes on the paintjobs on some of the cars.

Again, keep in mind it's a BETA.. Not everything will be perfect, and there will be FPS issues until the LODs and such are worked out.. Be thankful there are paintjobs at all, really.. Heheh.. Most "BETA" mods that get released only have a few, some have only one.. ;)

i think it was doug who mentioned that you guys might have used the rFactor cockpit as well....that is ALOT of polys to cram into NR2003 if i am not mistaken. Glad i am not the only person with issues here tho. One other note i saw was that the wheels seemed to be reversed as in as you get closer they get flat and as you move away they become 3d. This might also contribute to FPS loss  :) Thanks for the work so far cant wait for updates  :D

Ran on my friends laptop last night guys. 3Ghz Celoron, and 1 gig of ram, with a nvidea 6800. Everything on full, including 43 visible cars. I was getting 30 - 40 FPS. I really don't see how so many people are having issues, when the rest of us have none at all, but Bud is close to a fix,

Direct3D is what we ran on. We had his screen resolution all the way up as well, not sure what it was though, his laptop is a widescreen so, im not sure.

After trying some things bud is testing my pc says I'm getting 11 frames when I have 43 cars, but the game runs fine with no lag.

The game was clean installed as well, on my friends laptop. I'm going to try to reinstall game, and see if it makes a difference.
