THE RACING LINE

The Racing Line section contains usefull information on car setup, tracks and driving techniques.

Sorry that this section isn't growing that fast. I have to admit that my time is a little limited at the moment. Lesson three on suspension is under way. We were sent a ton of info by Richard Duncan on supsension theory so once we've simplified it down, we'll post lesson three. I've also started to compile some track guides. The manuals do give a quick run through of the ciruits, however their not going to tell you how to get a fast lap! Thats up to you!

JED'S GUIDE TO MOTORSPORT PHYSICS

When I was learning to drive racing cars I was lucky enough to be taught by people who understood cars. Many drivers can go through their whole lives and not realise how physics affects what a car can and cannot do. These guides are designed to help you understand what is going on when you are driving and how your set-up affects this

TRACK GUIDES.

With 20,000 people visiting The Pits, finding time to race is pretty hard. Sadly we haven't had time to create more track guides, but those of you who have used the Watkins Glen guide have been very complimentary.

JAN KOHL'S 'QUICK FIX' GUIDE

So you couldn't be bothered to read or understand the motorsport physics. Well, Jan's handy, pocket sized, guide of common problems and cures may go someway to helping you get a better setup. Once you've extracted this handy TXT file, you'll find a list of common problems and how to solve them.
