1000 kilometers of the most grueling racetrack around. 5 hours of hard racing on a track where a lap takes over a minute and a half, part of it at 190 mph.

The 2004 Bullrun 1000 is the seventh running of the fall endurance roadcourse classic, with over 40 cars and 80 drivers trying to take the top spot.

This year two types of cars will compete on the 3.66 mile roadcourse, Trans-Am cars and Touring cars. The touring machines are 400 hp, but much lighter, and will throw an interesting mix into the machines running for the front spot on the podium. The TC cars will compete against each other for the honor of the Bullrun 1000 winner.
