NEWS

Welcome to the new expanded GP2 area of THE PITS. We hope to offer you the best of what is avaliable on the Web to make GP2 a better game than it is already. This is what THE PITS is known for and will continue to be known for. You will find the latest and greatest carsets, utilities, editors, sounds, cockpits and more. I will also have articles on how to make your own cars, a full technical breakdown on Formula 1 cars and more. In the forth coming months this area will grow by leaps and bounds.

Now for the bad news on Tuesday October 28, Hyper@ctive News reported that Microprose have officially informed all distributors that Grand Prix 2 will be removed from sale on December the 31st 1997. It seems that the circumstance surrounding the untimely end to this classic game are directly related to the non renewal of the FUJI FOCA license. This comes at a time when Psygnosis are the subject of legal action in response to releasing F197 prior to the issue of a license from the Formula One Association (CTW). Sega Ozisoft will be supplying Grand Prix 2 until December the 31st or until stock runs out.Get your classic while you can..

The new Pits GP2 car is here!

NOTE: Older utilities and ICR1 and N1 programs located in the archives. Each program should have a text file on how to install it included in the zip. Refer to that for installation. Please do not email us about technical problems/installation questions on programs not written by us. In that file should be the original author's email...please contact them for any other problems. NEW USERS: You will need to get a zip utility to use these programs.
